I was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin and raised and educated in the Badger State. My career included technical and airbrush illustration and graphic design. I am a retired graphic designer having worked at Promega Corporation in Fitchburg, WI for almost 30 years. I live in McFarland, WI with my wife Barb. We have three grown children.
I am a digital artist. My process starts with photography and I employ various photo manipulation and illustration software to create my images. Typography is also an important element in the creation of my art deco style artwork. The posters are high quality offset litho prints.
I have always been drawn to the stylized, precise work of the Art Deco period (1920-1939). I am a creative thinker but the execution of my ideas is controlled, precise, deliberate. I will admit it, I am a perfectionist.
